Travel Tips: L'avion ou le train

MUSTS For Traveling by plane or train

I travel fairly frequent by plane, but I think these tips can help those who travel by train as well. I definitely would've used them on my few train trips had I known and will use them in the future.

Need to Know:

TIPS
-Avoid Greasy Foods
-Apply moisturizer upon seating and make up at the end of the flight/train ride
-Pick your seat in advance to avoid miscommunication
-Bring snacks with you, airlines especially over price food {yes you can bring food, just not liquids}
-Adjust to local time upon boarding
-Stick to water
-Stay active on long flights, if you aren't a sleeper choose an aisle seat for better access
-Prep your entertainment prior to the trip
-Buy two one-way fares for cheaper prices

WEAR THIS
Flights/Trains tend to be cold so keep that in mind when you are choosing your travel attire.
-Layer with a comfortable top and light layer {always a good idea to have a scarf}
-Pants are typically your best option {easier to move around in and your legs won't get cold}
-If you aren't worried about discomfort, for packing purposes wear your largest/bulky shoes and use TSA Pre-check. Otherwise wear comfortable shoes, like flats.

Examples:
To look comfy-chic pair a blazer with your T-shirt/Jeans look and designer flats/booties.
To have that effortless sophisticated look pair your comfiest trousers with a light knit.
To have that perfect girl-next-door look throw your hair in a not-so-messy messy bun with jeans, sneakers (or saddle boots) and a flannel/t-shirt combo, jean jacket/t-shirt, or trendy cardigan/sweater.
To nail Athleisure pair your favorite activewear set with a leather/jean jacket, baseball cap, and designer tote.

Hope y'all find use to this! Also here are a few of my favorite websites/apps to help me plan trips..
