Hey y'all, I figured you'd want to know a little bit about the person behind the screen. :)
I'm Lisa Monique McDowell- a dog momma, milspouse, and now a lifestyle blogger!! I was raised in a beautiful town near Saddleback Mountains, Southern California. I have a passion for health, fitness, fashion, and my sweet puppers Maggie & Zeus. I'm a #bossbabe military spouse in the making, but I still have lots to do/learn!
These past two years I've traveled so much, I've actually moved 8 times (crazy I know). All of this started when I followed my heart to a small ranch town in Northern Nevada near the stunning Lake Tahoe. Following my heart meant leaving my home, and traveling to new places with my now husband. Not too long after we settled in our first home (Summer 2016), he decided to join the Marine Corps. In the Fall, I packed myself and my beloved Maggie girl then headed south to the hot and booming Las Vegas, Nevada. Up until March, I'd been bouncing back and forth from California, Northern Florida, and Nevada to follow my heart. My heart is finally home with my husband in South Carolina, after 17 long months of living apart.
